Kawasaki Manufacturing was founded in Mimata-cho, Kitamorokata-gun, Miyazaki Prefecture, focusing on circuit board assembly and processing.

The factory was relocated to Yasukucho, Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and the name was changed to "Kawasaki Electric Works."
1987
August
Established second factory in Yasukucho
1988
April
Changed name to "Kawasaki Electronics"
May
1989
Established the third factory as a relay factory
March
The second factory was absorbed into the head office to strengthen production.
1990
May
Addition of casting machine and expansion into plastic molding department
1993

Head office factory established (current head office location)
1994

The third factory was relocated to Hayamizu-cho, Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture and renamed the Hayamizu Factory.
1995

Hayamizu Factory becomes a subsidiary and Master Co., Ltd. is established (absorbed into the head office in May 1998)
2001
August
Established Takarabe Factory in Minamimata, Takarabe-cho, Soo City, Kagoshima Prefecture as a dedicated factory for automobile parts.
2003
April
Nagoya Sales Office opened and sales of electronic bulletin boards began.
2004
March
Changed name to Kawasaki Electronics Limited Company
May
Established the Kagoshima Factory (currently the Kagoshima Factory) in Shimotakarebe, Takarabe-cho, Soo City, Kagoshima Prefecture as a dedicated mobile phone factory.

Established the Automotive Parts Harness Division at the Head Office Factory. Established a contracting business for specific worker dispatching (abolished in September 2018 due to legal revisions).

Designated under the Miyakonojo City Business Location Promotion Ordinance

Certified as a Miyazaki Prefecture company. Established a joint venture (G&K LLC) with Good Company Co., Ltd.

The sale of the former pachinko property was completed (Miyakonojo Southern Factory)
July
The company was renamed Kawasaki Electronics Co., Ltd. Daisuke Kawasaki was appointed president and Toshiaki Kawasaki was appointed chairman.
